West Virginia Player of the Year Candidate

Those of you who don't check the Charleston Gazette twice weekly may not know that the best Maier to ever pick up a basketball is junior forward MacKenzie Maier of Charleston Catholic.

MacKenzie was first team All State as a sophomore and had over 1,000 points going into her junior year. She is a certain Division I player and we'll have the chance to watch her on TV in a few years.

This year she is averaging over 21 ppg for her 8-0 team. Best of luck to MacKenzie and all the other Maier ballers out there!!!
