Cole, Madeline, Bill, Matthew and a somewhat
reluctant Kevin.
The family shots were a great idea and will be a good gauge of how everyone has changed / grown.
Think of how this will look in a few years when Mad & Bill are the two smallest.
On a technical note we will have to remember not to shoot with glare from picture and a beer bottle in the background. Bill - must be yours as it is not in any other shot.
Maybe a nice rack of moose antlers instead....

Family photos

All will follow in order.
The only true NJ native and Pequannock born Michael did not know what RN3-1941 was.
Anybody?
Extra points for the name of candy store that was at the end of our street - left out of our driveway instead of right towards MQ of Heaven.

RN3-1941

1348 East 56th St. between L&M, the first address memorized by many of us. Wonder if they bag that front lawn?
Mary took these on her trip in to the city last weekend and emailed to me. She tells me that next year at Thanksgiving she will be thankful for digital cameras so please don't anyone steal her thunder....
I was there in 1996 and remember thinking how far the church seemed when we were little. It's actually right up the street.
Makes you realize that we've all come a long way.... thanks Mom & Dad!!!
Captain Jack

I've got my sled, a beautiful snowy day, and not a care in the world. It doesn't get any better than this.
Thanks to Dot Sr. for sending out the birthday / anniversary list although we can't possibly be that old.
I've mentally compartmentalized the nieces and nephews into various eras and need to be reminded of this latest wave of arrivals. Here's how it breaks down for Pat & I...
The first arrivals in the early 80's - Frank Aquino, Dave Coskey, Jack Cremin
Finally some girls in the Mid 80's - Mike Coskey, Carly Aquino, Kelly Maier, Steven Coskey
Late 80's/early 90's - Alex Liotta, Brandon Cremin, Tom Maier Jr., Brad Maier, MaryKate Kostlan
From the Devils first Stanley Cup and on (1995) - Cole Maier, Leslie Maier, David Liotta, Caroline Kostlan, RJ Cremin, Matthew Maier, Bobby Cremin, Kevin Maier, Kevin Kostlan
2000 and on - Jack Maier, Sophie Gould, Harrison Cremin, Jackson Cremin, Brendan Odenthal, JD Maier, Mike Gould, Emily Gould.
Look for Bday list in Excel format soon - get back to the webmaster w any corrections we may not have noticed (Larry 1054?)

Hope springs eternal....

Requests for updated fishing reports (and more Blue Man Group pictures) continue to pour in. Here is the latest from Betty & Nicks in Seaside Park. This info may force me to go get my beach pass today. Larry - come on down?
Please let us know if you vote for the current slot size or a return to 28" and above.
Excuse the spelling and grammar below - he is a tackle shop owner.
ISLAND BEACH STATE PARK REPORT
Update from 1030 am - 29 lb Striper caught in the Manasquan Inlet on Storm shad. It's 54 degrees, Pat's out of town, boys are home and there is a very light rain falling. See you on the jetty.
Yesterday's Report: UPDATED 3:57 PM Well today has been a lot different than yesterday. Amazing for a January day. Had over 100 striped bass reported on pretty much everything small you threw at them and we had our first keeper of the year weighed in. A 25 inch beauty which will not be a keeper much longer. It was weighed in by Andy Smith of Westchester, PA who was fishing a 1/4 mile north of the Governor's house and was nice enough to let us take a picture. Tom and Jay from Philly landed 30 fish right here in Seaside Park on 9th avenue and perrenial regulars to IBSP like Frank Dombrowski told us they slayed them. Incrediable. Hopefully they will still be hitting this weekend which should be nice weather as well.

NBA - Not Basketball Anymore

The Knicks are on a five game win streak and hope springs eternal. If Isiah Thomas (still a Piston) would trade that moping, scowling punk Marbury they might be watchable.
Have layups gone out like canvas Cons? Where is the pullup jump shot (JoJo White) the reverse off the glass, the simple give and go?
Brothers and sisters, please - be like CSN and teach your children well. Show them that the backboard IS their friend. That if you really love the ball and you set it free, it will come back to you on the way to the basket. That there is no shame in saying "nice shot" to your opponent.
Maybe we can turn the tide if we work together.... I welcome your comments.

West Virginia Player of the Year Candidate

MacKenzie was first team All State as a sophomore and had over 1,000 points going into her junior year. She is a certain Division I player and we'll have the chance to watch her on TV in a few years.
This year she is averaging over 21 ppg for her 8-0 team. Best of luck to MacKenzie and all the other Maier ballers out there!!!

Liotta Christmas Party 2005
No Christmas would be complete without
the obligatory matching outfits
from Mom & Dad
Maier!! Thank you; I traded sizes with Jim and have already worn mine several times.
What if we go blue at the (Kenny) Maier picnic this year? We could really blow away the competition with matching pants....
Props to Jim Maier for sending in this picture and would like to see some of those family portraits. The webmaster reserves the right to refuse any photos that make his hairline more than 5 fingers high.
